CLIENTS of Victoria's oldest disability support service last week walked the streets of Traralgon with former Australian Football League stars as part of a statewide trek to raise funds for the organisation.

Local Disability Carers Feel Failed

Mirboo North retirees Brain and Meralyn Ahearne say there is not enough supported accommodation in Gippsland to allow them respite from caring for their intellectually disabled son. Brain, 76, and Meralyn, 74, are also concerned about who will care for their son Malcolm, 49 when they no longer can.
