Why Become a RiG Member?

General Membership

Anyone can become a General member.

As Respite in Gippsland is still in the early stages of development a General User Memberships only allows access to the Dicussion Forum.

Becoming a General Member allows for Repsite in Gippsland to contact you when new developments have been made to the website such as when the quarterly newsletter is ready to be launched.

A General Membership also allows the Site Manager and the Respite in Gippsland Team to track the number of memberships to the site, which will also help identify the value of the site within the local community, and aide development and further ventures for the site.

The only information used for reporting purposes is the overall number of Memberships, and the 'role' of members (carer, person with a disability, service provider, family member/ friend, other). All other member information will remain confidential. 

Disability Respite Network Member and Members Area

Those working in the disability respite, disability and community services sector are able to become disability respite network members.

Membership allows you access to the Members Area which is home to meeting minutes and agendas of the Regional Disability Repspite Network, and the LGA Specific Disability Respite Networks.

Members can also access, post and comment on information that may be useful to the network, access to Respite in Gippsland promotional materials for disemination within their workplace and to the general public, access to Respite updates and funding information from the Department of Human Services.
